Dr. Melissa Severino-Hoza is a 1993 graduate of St. John High School in Ashtabula, Ohio. In 1997, she then obtained her BA magna cum laude in Zoology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Continuing in pursuit of her professional goals, Dr. Severino-Hoza was accepted into The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where she again graduated with honors in 2002.
Dr. Severino-Hoza is driven to be a gentle, an honest, and a compassionate dentist, creating not only healthy, beautiful and functional smiles, but a trusting relationship with each of her patients. Committed to lifelong learning, she has completed extensive postdoctoral training in all aspects of restorative dentistry. This training includes crown & bridgework, dentures & partials, composite restorations, extractions and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Severino-Hoza is also certified in placing and restoring mini dental implants.
Including being a member of the Northeast Ohio Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Ohio Dental Association, she is a graduate of LEADERship Ashtabula County. Furthermore, Dr. Severino-Hoza devotes time to the education our children on dental health at the local schools and daycare facilities.
Outside of the office, Dr. Severino-Hoza relaxes spending time with her husband Joe, their son Jovanni and their Shih-Tzu Jack. She enjoys entertaining family and friends, cooking and traveling.
