Martha began dental assisting in 1971 and has recently celebrated her 12 year anniversary of working with Dr. Appelfeller. She has obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene from Lakeland Community College in Kirtland Ohio, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is a member of the Dental Hygienists National Honors Society and has many years of continuing education under her belt including training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. As the coordinator of the office team, Martha is goal-oriented in assisting the doctor and co-workers in providing dental service that is second to none in the community. Everyday she strives to inform and educate her patients and the community on the importance of quality dental care and provides them with the service they deserve. When Martha is not at the office restoring beautiful smiles for her patients, she spends time in her century home, restoring the beauty of her house and its furniture through refinishing and renovating. Martha is also a mother of five wonderful children. Martha is also the proud new grandmother of a rambunctious baby girl, Kala.
